Ingredients

  • 200 g veal cut
  • A cup of yogurt
  • an onion
  • an egg
  • Dried mint
  • salt
  • 150g cooked white rice

Method

put three cups of water in a saucepan, put it on medium heat, Then the meat is added and left on the fire until it boils.

remove the foam formed on the surface, Then add the onions. bay leaf, mastic and cardamom.
Season the mixture with salt and black pepper and leave the pot on the stove until the meat is completely cooked.
Put the yogurt in a deep bowl.
Add the eggs to the mixture, stirring well, until the ingredients are combined.
Strain the milk mixture using a fine strainer until the mixture becomes smooth. Then put it on medium heat. Keep stirring non-stop until the mixture thickens. Add a little meat broth to the milk mixture. Taking into account not to dilute it.
Add the meat to the milk.
Pour the shakriya into a suitable serving dish.
Browning garlic in a small skillet with ghee or butter. then add mint, Pour the mixture over the plate and serve it directly with white rice.
